About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Martech & CRM Manager to lead a major, multi-brand digital infrastructure and CRM migration project. This is a hands-on role requiring strong HubSpot CRM expertise (ideally including migration from Salesforce) and deep, practical capability across the broader Martech ecosystem.
You’ll drive the integration of CRM, automation, analytics, and digital systems that underpin our marketing operations. The role is ideal for someone who’s both strategic and technical, passionate about building scalable, data-driven, and automated marketing frameworks.
Our Martech Vision
The Martech function is built around four key pillars — Collection, Propagation, Integration, and Automation — enabling performance across all marketing channels including analytics, paid and organic search, social media, affiliate partnerships, lifecycle marketing, CMS (Technical SEO & CRO), CDPs (Customer Data Platforms), iPaaS tools (Azure Logic Apps, Make, n8n), AI modules, and cloud infrastructure (Azure and Google).
About You
You’re a curious, technically minded marketer who thrives at the intersection of technology, creativity, and strategy. You’re equally comfortable in CRM dashboards and data architecture diagrams — a “jack-of-all-trades” who’s mastered one or more core disciplines (preferably CRM and marketing automation).
You stay ahead of emerging technologies, understand how they fit into a composable marketing and wider technology stack, and are excited by the challenge of building a truly integrated, digital-first ecosystem. You’ll work alongside and be mentored by a seasoned full-stack Martech lead to further develop your breadth and depth of expertise.
Key Deliverables
Project Management
Lead a digital agency partner in delivering CRM and MarTech dependencies across seven new websites (six brand sites and two corporate).
Manage timelines, deliverables, costs, and communications across departments.
Hands-On CRM Delivery
Oversee and contribute to HubSpot CRM implementation and configuration.
Translate lifecycle definitions into marketing automation workflows.
Ensure high-quality development, testing, and deployment across all platforms.
Automation & Integration
Build automation between systems within a decoupled, composable architecture using iPaaS tools.
Enable seamless integration of CRM, CMS, analytics, and LMS environments.
Data, Insights & Analytics
Champion data-driven marketing by connecting commercial and marketing data to decision-making.
Develop performance dashboards and support AdTech optimisation and paid media strategies.
Website & eCommerce Enablement
Deliver CRM-dependent functionality across new websites, including real-time enrolment and Stripe-based payment solutions integrated with the aXcelerate LMS.
Governance & Optimisation
Establish frameworks for personalisation, automation, and continuous optimisation across Martech platforms.
Ensure compliance, data privacy, and technical governance are embedded from the outset.
Training & Handover
Develop internal capability through structured training and documentation.
Manage full technical handover to in-house teams across the student lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Martech & Platform Implementation (Project Manage)
Lead the end-to-end HubSpot integration and capability uplift.
Implement, integrate, and optimise Martech platforms (CMS, CRM, automation, CDP, analytics).
Manage QA, workflow testing, and data validation.
Ensure stack scalability and alignment with the customer journey.
Risk Management & Governance
Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks early.
Define governance frameworks for data use, privacy, and compliance.
Link Martech data and analytics to business KPIs.
Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
Act as the bridge between Marketing, Admissions, Technology, and agency partners.
Translate commercial goals into actionable Martech requirements.
Advise executive leadership on Martech adoption and performance metrics.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
5+ years’ experience as a Marketing Technologist or Marketing Automation & Lifecycle Manager.
Advanced HubSpot CRM skills (migration from Salesforce highly desirable).
Proven success delivering multi-platform or white-labelled digital programs (CRM, CMS, automation, analytics).
Deep understanding of data integration, APIs, and automation workflows.
Hands-on experience with Headless CMS (Storyblok or similar), HubSpot CRM, Stripe, and eCommerce platforms.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including C-suite engagement.
Expertise in UI/UX, SEO, CRO, and eCommerce best practices.
Experience managing multi-brand or modular rollout projects across composable architectures.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, SEO, and WCAG accessibility standards.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently in modern, complex digital ecosystems.
Desirable
“Full-stack” Martech experience across CRM, automation, data, analytics, and CMS.
Experience delivering personalised journeys (segmentation, targeting, dynamic content).
Familiarity with student management systems (JobReady, aXcelerate).
Experience implementing CDPs and enabling single customer views.
Success Measures
Successful delivery of seven new websites fully integrated with the Martech stack.
Real-time enrolment and payment functionality in place.
Demonstrable uplift in conversion, enrolment, revenue, and automation efficiency.
Internal capability uplift through structured training and governance.
Reduced overheads through scalable, automated solutions.
