About CEDA
CEDA – the Committee for Economic Development of Australia – is a national, independent, membership organisation providing leading thinking and policy perspectives on economic and social issues affecting Australia. We undertake a rigorous research program and present forums and events on critical issues, across the country.
CEDA's membership includes 750 of Australia's leading businesses and organisations from across professions and sectors. Founded in 1960 by leading Australian economist Sir Douglas Copland CEDA is a not-for-profit organisation, a single National organisation with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane. CEDA’s funding comes from membership fees, events, research and sponsorship.
