Company Overview
English Australia is the national peak body for the English language sector of international education in Australia.
English Australia represents over 120 member colleges throughout Australia that provide quality English language programs to students and professionals from around the world.
The member elected English Australia Board comprises a Chair, two Deputy Chairs and five General Delegates, in addition to six State and Territory Delegates. English Australia is supported by a Secretariat team led by the Executive Director.
As the national peak body for the English language sector of international education in Australia the Mission of English Australia is to provide leadership and influence as the voice of the industry and support and benefits to members, driving higher levels of professionalism across the industry.
English Australia has four main areas of focus:
- support and promotion of quality English language training and support services;
- representation and lobbying both in Australia and internationally;
- profiling and promotion of member colleges, the sector and Australia;
- provision of a comprehensive range of membership services.
